Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular summer reality show Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd Season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts and hosts. She hosted and moderated the show between 2010 and 2018, when she was the host. Her writing background was evident prior to becoming a host, but her love of writing was for the written word. In fact, it earned her an Emmy. In addition, she won an Emmy for hosting and outstanding comedy talk show. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 and 2010. Before that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor in addition to being the anchor for news on The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo for an informative and eye-opening interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News program. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Before joining The Early Show he was an CBS owned station reporter in New York City, WCBS. Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). Also, she was employed by ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995. She began her career working as an assistant with ABC News, working on the late-night show Nightline together with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains among Moonves' journalistic idols. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker on Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that examined how the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
